Custom made wedding dress service | Bedfordshire

The Bespoke Experience

Alternative wedding dress laid on a wooden floor. Pale blue ruched silk bodice with pale blue layered tulle skirt, with pale pink. Handcrafted embroidery appliques on bodice

I’m guessing that you don’t buy a wedding dress that often and it can all seem a bit overwhelming, but I am here to guide you through this!

Finding your perfect wedding dress should be a fun experience but in reality, finding one that looks as though it’s been made just for you can be challenging and stressful.

Perhaps you have a very unique style and a pre-made wedding dress just won’t reflect that.

"Thank you again for making the process enjoyable and for creating something truly unique, which felt completely perfect to wear on my most special of days" - Sarah

Working with me to design your handmade gown is an incredibly exciting experience, as you watch me transform your vision for your perfect wedding dress into a reality.

Together, we’ll explore a wide range of styles, fabrics and colours, to create a dress you’ll truly adore and will always remember.

What to expect when you choose me to make your bespoke wedding dress!

    1. Come and meet me at my home studio in Heath and Reach, near Leighton Buzzard, for a complimentary consultation. I encourage you to bring photos of dresses you particularly like, along with magazine cuttings etc. We discuss your wedding plans, along with any colour scheme or theme you have in mind.
    2. I create a range of designs with corresponding prices.
    3. You visit me at my studio again to view the designs and choose one. At this point,  a 50% deposit is made and terms and conditions are agreed.  I will also take very specific measurements.
    4. I create the pattern for the dress, make a toile and invite you to my studio for a fitting. This is where you see your dream start to take shape!  Together we will collaborate to achieve the perfect fit and style to suit your curves and individual style.
    5. Once you’re completely satisfied with the design and have signed off the toile, I order the fabric and start to make your dress.
    6. When the dress is past half-made, I invite you for a fitting. There will be a minimum of two dress fittings in total.
    7. Once the dress has been fitted perfectly, I finish it, adding any beads or embellishments.
    8. The final balance is payable two  weeks prior to collection.
    9. Subject to availability, I am happy to attend on the morning of your special day, to dress you in your wedding gown.
